Recently we had a Te Reo immersion day. We spent time learning about what a Mihi is and creating our own one, role playing basic phrases in Te Reo and building our knowledge of the koru.
The art pieces we made represent our closest community - our family. We drew a koru to symbolise each person in our family.
This art is real cool. I think it is AMAZING!!!
